  1. I have recently started reading blogs on the Internet (I know - I leap into
the new Millennium), but I haven't found any interesting food blogs yet, so
I was just wondering if you foodies have any favorite food blogs that you
    would recommend?

    Thanks!

I have never found an interesting blog on any topic. I hate blogs.

Go to eGullet. They seem to have a blog a week, with lots of pictures.
So many have been really good, it's like me being able to take a trip
to India or Manhattan just sitting here. This week has been with a
    Cambridge don.

Well, I'm not sure I'd recommend the following blogs but they were
recommended by the food staff of the S.F. Chronicle. I checked them
out and didn't find them particularly interesting but ymmv.

    becksposhnosh.blogspot.com
    chezpim.typepad.com
    www.cyberbilly.com/meathenge

    I like http://typepad.noodlepie.com/blog. It's a blog by a British journalist
living in Saigon, lots of great pictures and descriptions of hawker stall
food. He's also got a bunch of links to other food blogs worth exploring,
    with a variety of cuisines.

That surprises me, Wayne. To me, blogs are like books, people write them
about every subject under the sun. Hating the medium is hard to fathom,
because it's hardly to be blamed for the content--or lack thereof. It'd be
difficult for me NOT to find one worth reading, and I'm often pleasantly
surprised by how creative and well-written many of them are. The food/travel
    ones are my favorites. 🙂

For the OP, a few more, can also be found by linking from the Noodlepie
    blog:

http://www.makansakan.com (specifically about food in Malaysia/Singapore, not
    as frequent updates)

It surprised me as well. I like books, even audio books. Most of the time
I'm a voracious reader. I just can't get into the blog thing.
