Hmmm, has the style (in handwriting terms) of an

What may be surprising to anyone who regularly sends
scruplously typed letters to Newspapers, a National
Newspaper in this case, is just how badly written, almost
illegible some of this letter appears to be.

A cynic might even suggest that a Newspaper will make the
effort to decipher just about any old scrawl, providing the
views it expresses, are the ones it most wants to here.

Hi Simon,

I must say 'The Mail om Sunday' has gone up in my estimation
(a little) for taking this seriously. I still haven't heard
a word from 'The Hull Daily Mail'. (Which, interestingly
enough, is owned by the same poeple who own the national
'Daily Hate Mail'.

I imagine it can tell you quite a lot about the state of
mind someone was in when they were writing, though. Like how
agitated they were.

Just like the time of year that someone was born may well
have some influence on their personality, I guess.
