Thats worth £6-700 tops. The 2004+ frames have a much improved pivot
position, and that 2000 style frame was really quite flexy.

Still this is ebay, and people pay silly prices on ebay.

  3. I bought a 2000 Marin Mount Vision for £360 off ebay (funny that came from
Barrow-in-Furness also), so £1100 looks way over the top.

Yup waaaay overpriced. 2nd hand bike values are not good. £500 might get a
    sale.

Being far too busy enjoying my Whyte 46, I wish I'd read this before
re-listing the bike starting at 950UKP:

Being (relatively) new to ebay, I didn't immediately realise it's
possible to change details of an auction, on the proviso there are no
bids. So I changed it to a more realistic 600UKP.

If it wasn't a bargain before, it is now! :-)
