  1. Over the last month I've been cycling to work and back (+/- 40km) Mostly I cycle alone and average 35kph and have a really good work-out. On occation I'm joined by this REALLY hot blonde 😄 and the average speed plummets to a shade over 20kph...so I find myself in somewhat of a quandary: Serious training or serious eye-candy 😕 Any suggestions???

  2. Become her coach!!

  3. And you still ask??

There are other times to ride hard. How often do you encounter eye candy worth waiting for??

hahaha! Point taken - I'll ride my ass off over weekends and enjoy the view during the week! 😄

Now that's a damn fine idea - Coaching does include giving full body massages to the person you're training doesn't it?? 😄

  6. Me thinks you need to snap a piccie pooh and post it here for all of us. Come-on, be a good boy a share the experience. . .

😄 No worries - I will see what I can do... Maybe as soon as tomorrow (hopefully she's riding tomorrow... 🙂 )

  8. good luck man , a cycling chick is a great chick!

  9. It is the carrot on a stick theory .. how much do you like carrots? You could always lap her AND show off your biking skills .. a 2nd look is always worth the extra pain! I nearly ran a 4 way stop sign the other day (in my car) rubber necking 2 spandex clad fellas (us girls like candy toooo!) .. hope they couldn't lip read! O.K. I will get off here and let you fellas continue your banter ..

hahaha! Good plan Susan! The old pleasure / pain combo - Definitely masochistic but strangely appealing 😄 (but won't she think it's a tad strange if I blast away from her only to hurtle past a bit later 😕 )

  11. Yep, a fine line between pleasure & pain right!?!? Sounds good to me .. hopefully she has a sense of humour .. which is a must in my book .. she will be watching for you to come up the rear .. again!! You can always give her a beaming smile (on your 1st time around) and a "good morning"! (being polite always helps hee, hee) Then on your 2nd time around sadle up beside her!!!!!!!!!!!!! Gosh, I hope she isn't on this forum?!??! Lab Rat what do you think? Comments Zewal? I think I would try to thunder up beside a cute bloke if he did that to me!

  12. Well? We're waiting for more info, here, please throw a line ;-)

  13. LOL........ What the hell?? I never thought to see this type of thread on the forums!!! LOL!!!

Holy [censored]! Just noticed you're South African!! No wonder the eye candy is so damn impressive!!!! One of my ex g/f's was South African... man... she looked like a goddess 😄 *cue holy music in background*

  14. Sounds like a brilliant idea. Unless of course your training buddies take great delight in telling people that you're from the extreme school of cycling in which case the bevvies of beauties think you're a tad unbalanced. (How can I be?? I ride 50% of the time on my road bike and the other 50% on a MTB.) What else is there to live for?? hehe.

Yep, the girls in SA definately make up for many of our country's short comings. Wish more of them would ride though.

Hi Susan - I rode again this morning and I thought about implementing "the plan" - Ended up riding for 54mins at 22kph with her - What can I say: I am weak 😄 (Rode my ass off yesterday so I don't feel too bad for goofing off today...I was worth it!!😄 )

    %^$&ing TYPO !!! :o ... IT was worth it!! NOT I was worth it...(geez - can't freekin' type!)

  17. Okay, now, this is strictly NOMB, but what I'm wondering is why 22 kph? Man, that's pretty slow. On my water buffalo, a good clip is around 27; 22 is really on the slow end, and 32-33 is when I'm really moving (like in traffic). What is the deal with 22kph?

I mean, I'm just curious, maybe she needs a riding buddy to push her averages up a little? Or could she be out there only because she knows you will be coming along?

Only one way to find out - you must talk to her, and promptly report back all the details. She will be thrilled to know how many people are waiting to find out if she's more than just another pretty girl on a bike!

Hi Sara, yup 22kph is waaayyyyy slow... but she is riding a real tank of a bike (I'd estimate 1.7 metric tons 😄). Oh and I have spoken with her and she's wwwaaayyyyy more that just a pretty girl 🙂 Hence the quandary... cruise along with a goddess or fly low at high-speed alone. God I love this sport 😄

  20. You can get some of those leather tassles that Harley Davidson riders have on their bikes. (It lets them know when they're moving.) hehe.

    We're not worthy, we're not worthy. . .
