Hmmm, didn't realise Sora was high end shimano gear. Doh, should have
got the OCR3 instead of the OCR2.

seriously - has anyone figured out exactly how to place their hands on those bars? maybe the hoods are only to be used in a handstand - just close your eyes and imagine...just as you are going over that car that just swerved before you you can assume the correct position! woohoooo

Yep. but they are really badly designed, the upshift (to smaller cogs)
in the rear is (or was inthe older model I owned) done via a little
thumb lever like campag ergo levers only on the Sora models the lever is
to small to reach when you're in the drops so you can only upshift from
the hoods.

I sent a question asking what the equivalent bike would be in Giant or

Here are the questions I have asked the buyer:

Q1 Does the front wheel come assembled the wrong way around, as in the
photo? (Quick release should be on the left, with the lever facing the rear
of the bike)

Q2 Does the cost cover insurance for neck/back damage due to poor assembly
of the drop bars / brake assembly?

Q3 Is the poor welding that is evident in some of the photos guaranteed?

Q4. Since when does a $1400 bike have a non-quick relase rear hub as shown
in the photos? The photos do not match your description

Still, for the ~$500 it's currently at, I guess you could do worse.
FWIW I kinda like the layout of the Sora shifters. Not nearly as much
as Ergo, but I like them more than the higher end Shimono layouts.

the paint I don't know how to confirm this. The specs state Sora, but,
honestly I don't know the difference. I have literally quoted their spec
sheet from the factory. "
