Exploring the hidden paths on Zwift has been a topic of interest for many of us, but I think theres still a lot to uncover. What Id like to know is, are there any undocumented or unofficial routes that can be ridden on Zwift that arent listed on the official route map, and if so, how do people typically go about discovering them?
It seems like every now and then, someone will stumble upon a hidden route or a variation of an existing route that isnt well-documented, but its not always clear how they found it. Is it a matter of exploiting glitches in the game, or is there a more systematic way of exploring the virtual world to uncover these secrets?
For example, Ive heard rumors of a hidden KOM segment on the Watopia figure-eight route that doesnt appear on the official segment list, but Ive never been able to find it myself. Are there any tips or tricks for finding these kinds of hidden gems, or is it just a matter of putting in the time and miles to stumble upon them by chance?
Furthermore, do you think Zwifts developers intentionally leave some areas of the virtual world unexplored or undocumented to encourage exploration and discovery, or is it simply a matter of the games complexity and the limitations of its design?
Id love to hear from anyone who has experience with exploring the hidden paths on Zwift, and whether youve discovered any secrets or undocumented routes that youre willing to share with the community.
