Experience with 1" threadless suspension forks?

Doesn't Marzocchi make 1" sus forks? I have a 1" Manitou SX that I've been
fond of. However, I swapped it out for a rigid a while back.

available in 1" and sold for something like $280 - 320.

I don't know about newer models, but you can still get parts for older
Marzocchi forks, including 1" steerers. So if you can't find a new fork
with a 1" steerer, you might pick up an older one from eBay, etc. If this
is for an older frame, the <80mm travel may be more appropriate anyway.
The older B1/B2/Bomber series are still great forks.

Note that while they're not exactly "expensive," older 1" forks do sell at
a premium because of demand and scarcity.

You cab get 1" threadless forks from most of the manufacturers. I know
for a fact that Marzocchi will put a 1" steerer on most of there single
crown forks with 100mm or less. I have a Marzochhi Marathon Air witha
1" threadless steerer I got a few years ago. I may have a used 1"
Marzocchho and/or RockShox as well.
