    Arbeit macht frei.

Ditto. I've got enough time between jobs to eat, but there's always
something else I'd rather be doing.

And you wonder why your diet, your weight and your life is so screwed
up. Start eating properly and see what happens with all three. You
    might be pleasantly surprised.

Oh, you never go through phases where your appetite decreases or
    increases? Interesting.

Oh, you never go through phases where your appetite decreases or

Not to any extreme. I make a point of eating consistently and
regularly. My moods swings are gone and so is my anxiety, since I
started eating this way. My energy levels remain steady. And my weight
has remained steady within 4 lbs since about a year after I started
    low-carbing.

If you do not eat regular meals, you are starving yourself a good part
of the day, which then leads to moodiness and anxiety which leads to
general instability mentally and physically. It is not good for you
overall, short term or long term. And it will sabotage your life in
    general.

I think I'd know if I were starving myself. Since I'm still overweight,
I'd first have to get to a normal weight, then underweight, before I'd
be technically "starving". If I'm not hungry, I don't see any point in
eating. My best guess is this lack of appetite is just from the weather
change, and once my body becomes accustomed to the cold, I'll start
feeling normal hunger again. You seem a bit alarmist to me about this
whole missing meals thing, but the way I see it is that humans evolved
in a situation when food was pretty hard to come by, and the body has
safeguards to prevent major problems from just a few skipped meals.
We're not as fragile as you seem to think.

  7. 8 eggs!!! Wow! I don't know if I've ever eaten *that* many at
    once....

  8. Many people have better weight control than you, and that are in much better
shape, only eat once a day.

    Prove otherwise.

I don't think there is anything wrong with eating only once per day...
I've been doing that a lot lately. ;-) I've either been too busy to eat,
    or too tired.

A LOT going on right now.

Not friggin' likely. My bet is that anyone who only eats once a day
probably has way more problems than they want to admit.
