  1. Hi All,

Can someone recommend an exercise for stretching hamstrings?

I found a bunch of stuff via Google but wanted to see if someone had
    personal recommendation based on experiences.

I exercise only once a week for about an hour and never had experience
with the hamstrings (they feel very tense lately).

    Thanks,

    E.S.P.

Touching your toes is a good way to stretch your hamstrings.

Not unless you keep your legs straight! ;o)

The best way is during sex. Lay on your back and let your boyfriend push
your legs against your chest (rabbit-ears) as he humps your hole. This will
    certainly stretch your hammies.

His BF doesn't do him that way, they do "doggie".

    Lunges?

I just do stretches for mine.
Regular post-workout stretching keeps me flexible, and seems to reduce
DOMS if I do breathing excercizes while I'm at it.

Sit down on the floor with your legs out in front of you in a V, then
lean forward across one leg at a time and grab the upper part of your
foot with both hands. Lean into it and pull slowly and gently. I never
    do ballistic stretches. Only static.

Hold the full stretch for several breaths. It feels good!

This one looks even better and is similar:
