  1. This is the time of year when I can't get out to walk. It's snowing and the roads are slick. No way
I'm going to walk! I bought a cheapie recumbant exercycle a couple years ago - it broke already.
Should pay attention to my favorite saying - you get what you pay for!!! Wish I could afford a
    decent treadmill.

Anyhow, any suggestions for some light work out videos? I can't do really strenous stuff, but I sure
need something else besides the twice a week yoga/pilates class which is wonderful for flexibility,
but doesn't do much for the aerobics side of the equation.

You could clear the show from a few peoples drives. 1 hour of that would be a great workout 🙂

Look on some of the P2P programs (kazaa and such). There are loads of videos available. I downloaded
a video called 8-minute abs. I sometimes do it through twice and that get me sweating big time.

  3. Do you have cable? There are several exercise programs on TV in the early AM that you could tape and
follow later in the day. WW also has an exercise program out too. 3 available levels of intensity.
Not too bad a workout. Check your local library for some workout tapes that you could copy or at
least get an idea of what one to look for in the store. Good luck.

  4. I use WATP and Richard Simmons too. Lately I've been recording shows from Lifetime and the Health
    Network. Fun fun fun.

  5. Ray, good idea about clearing snow - however, we live in the country. Don't think I want to tackle
the size driveways that people on our road have! One of them is at least 1/4 mile long! Around here
if you get enough snow that the driveway has to be cleared - you use a tractor and blade. :-) We've
not gotten that much - just enough to make the roads pretty slippery to walk.

    Thanks for the suggestions.

  6. Never thought of checking my satellite listings to see if there's an exercise show there. Duh!

  9. Hi Donna,

I like the Walk away the pounds DVDs. They are a pretty good aerobic workout that is also fun.
    Target sells them.
