  1. That's what some folks'll think.

    I sliced some steak off of a bottom round roast to make chicken fried
    steak. Then I did something I've never done before! I took the
    absorbent pad from beneath the meat, and I wrung it out onto the
    steak. Then I salted, peppered, floured as usual.

    I would not be a good candidate for vegetarianism.

    You paid for it, why not use it? When I get a steak at a restaurant, I
    sop up the juice with the bread. Once in a while, I'll try to sop it up
    with the baked potato.

    Well, of course. Lots of folks do that. Heck, when there's no one
