I have a 2005 Veloce Ergopower that no longer has index shifting. It still shifts, but it's like the "old school" friction shifters. I know that you can rebuild these, just looking for some pointers before I get the parts. It's the right side shifter, by the way.

Need either shift springs(2) or the spring carrier, which can split, or both. EC-RE-111 is the spring carrier and the shift springs are EC-RE-209...we have both and detailed instructions on how-to at yellowjersey.org. If you don't want to attempt, send them to me for a 1 day turnaround-

As Mr. Chisholm said, he has the parts to rebuild the lever to like new. Don't use grease when rebuilding. Use oil. Grease mucks the insides up. Taking them apart and rebuilding is fairly easy.
However, 2005 seems way too early to need to rebuild the internals. Unless you are training for and riding RAAM mileage, I would look for some other reason causing the poor shifting.

Thanks for the pitch but with Campag, grease is what I use, and it really doesn't muck any of the parts up but does ensurte the rotating parts and the 'feet' in the spring carrier rotate freely.

I don't think it's too early. If the clicks have gone away in the OPs shifter, I suspect a spring or spring carrier is broken, pretty common.

Thanks Peter, you were exactly right. Problem fixed and it works like a dream. Thanks again!
You failed to say what you replaced. Spring carrier? Springs?
I still find it impossible to believe the spring carrier broke or springs are worn on a 2005 Ergo. That would imply Campagnolo quality has turned to garbage in the past year or you are a RAAM rider.

Campag put little shoulders onto the EC-RE-111 spring carrier to prevent the post from breaking and that created a little stress rider that cause the thing to split. VERY common. WE grind the slot in EC-RE-057 flat instead of square to prevent back and forth movement that we think is breaking these. We also have used a carbon EC-RE-065, and haven't seen that one break yet.
