    The criteria to be satisfied by your choice:

    - the rider must be Italian
    - he must NOT have won a stage or a jersey
    - he must NOT be a team leader
    - he must have left the Tour before it reached Paris

    To help you out, all the Italians who abandoned were: Marco Velo (DNF stage 7) Alessandro Petacchi
    (DNF stage 7) <-- virus, stage winner Nicola Loda (DNF stage 8) Eddy Mazzoleni (DNF stage 9) Angelo
    Furlan (DNF stage 9) <--- is he Giorgio's brother? Stefano Zanini (DNF stage 9) Stefano Garzelli
    (DNF stage 10) <-- knee problem? Danilo Di Luca (DNF stage 13) <-- cystitis Pietro Caucchioli (DNF
    stage 13) Davide Rebellin (DNF stage 14) <-- team leader Raffaele Ferrara (DNF stage 14)

    So, pick a name you never heard of and you have a 1 in 11 chance of being right...I would think that
    the chances are higher after the rest day, so that would be either Caucchioli or Ferrara...
