  1. Entries are closing next Friday (21st Nov), after which a late fee will be
incurred, for the 2003 Kona 24hr MTB event.
If you haven't yet got a team of mates organised to do this great event,
    what are you waiting for?
You don't need to be super fit or own a super trick XC MTB, you just need to
bring along a sense of fun and a willingness to share the huge campsite with
nearly a thousand other like minded souls.
You don't have to ride for the entire 24hrs (unless you want to win), you
just need to start a lap at midday on Saturday and finish a lap after midday
Sunday. What you do in between is up to you!

    You provide the:
    - Bike
    - Rider
    - Tent etc

    We provide:
    - Great course
    - Great times
    - Showers
    - Toilets
    - Great food & bar
    - Sponsors prizes
    - First Aid/Medical support

People with mtb's to jump up and down and
yell "I wanna ride! I wanna ride!".

I'd love to, but I have a hard enough time getting a few hours away from the
family for a MTB ride up in listerfield park, let alone the whole weekend.

Ah well, when my son is a little older, I get him to do it with me ;-)

You mean lying in bed moaning "ooh I'm sooo sick
I can't possibly get out of bed" and when the family
has gone, bolting out the door trick doesn't work?!
Come on, have you REALLY tried? ;-)

Just messing with ya. You'll do one.. plenty of time!

So, what's the deal with entries? Are you reading the
pubbug list - I thought we could organise it there unless
the 'mods' have objections.. we want to enter as a
    team right?

I've posted to pubbug, but didn't get any replies yet...
We have 3 so far, with the soiler, yourself and I.
I think troyq wants to enter as well - can he confirm?
bikesoiler mentioned he knew a couple of other dudes
who wanted to run singlespeeds - has he got confirmation?
How are we going to work the entry?
