  1. ....The Boston Ballet
    It was ~ perhaps
    Still is?
    Pray tell, if only you
    Know...

    ....meanwhile,
    To all, tonight,
    I bid you ~ Good Night ~
    A fine play, won't you
    Say? Unrivalled performers,
    Y'all ~ To all, yes,
    A rip-roaring Bale de Hey!
    More comes later,
    Much more said, done
    To you. So please
    Say you'll stay.
    No play a play makes
    Without you,
    Festive players, nay sayers
    To gloom, too undone
    To know better!
    A Priori ~
No fun, no play, no wintergreen
    Chewing gum. Ms. Ruth
Draper's on her way, a dozen
    More lemons, she brings
    To stisr a sugar-free
    Fizzy beverage.
O too! St. Francis, yes, shortly
    Comes, his
    Will to bless, protect
    All from Harm's
    Way.

    enjoy ~

  2. Ugh! I have no time nor want nor need to read your elegy! Please, if you
will, a narrative which trundles from birth, unhindered by naught but such
lexis that might bring spring to our steps! Let it run, lope, dash and hurry
forth like a young foal whose legs are eager. Let the tail grow long and
spawn new yarns until we see what pastures lay fallow. Be the field upon
which we might dump much fertilizer so that all might sniff the heady scent
of work well done and carry forth the torch of Pheces.

I think Roger does plenty of "speading fertilizer" around here.

Some type of "as yet undefined" psychosis.

  6. calendar year -- two solstices and two equinoxes --
    1. The extremes solstices = summer and winter...
the equinoxes = spring and fall...
...mark the beginnings of the four seasons.
    Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall
At the extremes are the winter and summer solstices, Dec, 21 and
    June 21...

The solstices (winter) mark one of the four important points in
    Earth's orbit around the Sun.
It's Earth's position in its orbit -- and the orientation of its
tilted axis at these points in its orbit -- that defines the seasons.
The solstices are six months apart and mark the days when the northern
    or minimum (winter) sunshine.
In the north, the winter solstice, usually around december 21, is
    the shortest day of the year;

I might be slow, and not run........
butt then no one is chacing me in my sight......
The long journey always begins with the first step.

  8. Leafing through rec.running, I read Su®f McBrowse's message of 18 Nov

After virginaz's first week of posting she promptly took a turn for
trollville and started babbling mindlessly. Since most of us don't read
this newsgroup to be flooded with her "poetry," the only solution is to
kill file, as you would with any other troll.
