2nd hand comments, but two of the wrenches at the shop across the
river use these and swear by them. The quality of build looks to be
top notch--it's a very handsome bit of kit, and priced very fairly.
Cartridge bearing, so if you feel like buttering them up, run them
with some Phil carts.

i have one. it's pretty radtastic, ultra-premium, etc. not a whole ton
to say, really. i have 126 and 130 endcaps for it, so i can use it on
whatever sad old al road frames come along. one cool thing about it is
that it's light enough not to interfere with getting such projects
into the kinda goofy-light realm.

Tom,

I have built several wheels for customers with this hub. Some are
regulars who visit the shop often and I've never had any problems
reported. White Industries products are very well made. You won't go
wrong with this hub.

I can only echo the favorable comments by others. It was part of my
first from scratch wheel build and came out nicely, and is very easy
on the eyes.

Before I bought it I sent the manufacturer some technical questions
and they answered promptly.

We have built probably about a dozen-15 with great results. The
stinking bolts holding the axle ends are on too TIGHT!! but otherwise
a nice hub for vert dropouts.

A real nice departure from their other 'crappy' road hubs.

We like 'em a lot! I was riding one myself for quite a while on my
Rambouillet, with a 15 fixed and 17 freewheel (only actually used the
freewheel a couple of times though) and a 42 tooth Biopace
chainwheel.

I built a wheel using this hub for my SS/fixed MTB... 16 fixed and
17/19 White Ind. freewheel. I can use all three cogs with the same
chain length. There is enough adjustment room in the Cane Creek V-
brake to use all three cogs with only a minor change in pad position.

Could not be happier with this hub... well made, smooth spinning, just
plain nice work.
