Anyone else see that commercial for pre-sliced deli meats, the deli guy has just closed shop and his wife calls, please bring home that thin sliced deli meat? Blah blah blah, he brings home a stack of the pre-sliced stuff.
I'll be damned if he is not a dead ringer for Emeril, albeit younger.
Come to think of it, yes, he does resemble Emeril! Ah, Emeril... "Nancy Young" <[email hidden]> wrote in message "]news:[email hidden]...

Can't be, he doesn't run into the kitchen and slam it on the counter and yell 'bam' -Ginny

Gawd, I hate those toothpaste commercials. Toothpaste does not make you yell BAM! In fact, the only thing I can think of that might isn't something we should discuss 🙂

I did not notice the resemblance, but I'm not surprised if there is some. The subliminals in commercials are alarming.
We're all pretty much brain washed. Much as I protest out loud that I'm not, I reach for stuff I was told to buy, without a real good reason.

Well, I haven't run out and bought pre-sliced meat. I just think the guy looks like a young Emeril, especially in the last shot. Uncanny.

Wow, I just saw the ad for the first time last night and I have to agree with you. A younger, slimmer Emeril without the sometimes-annoying grin.

Sorry, I don't see anything beyond a generic resemblance. This commercial ran before, a year or so ago, I've seen it dozens of times and never had it occur to me that it looked like him at all.
