  1. Time to say Tyler is finally emerging from Lance's shadow.

    For Bobby, it's resurfection day.

Interesting that Gold, Silver and Bronze have all crossed paths with
the same team, with a change of sponsor allowed into account.

Huh? Which team? If you think USPS is the current iteration of what was the
Motorola team, you are wrong. The thing that the 3 have in common is they
each rode for Armstrong, but not on the same team.

Wasn't Motorola also owned and managed by Tailwind Sports? Before
Motorola it was Subaru-Montgomery. So, it is essentially the same team
    with different title sponsors.

No. Suburu-Montgomery (or some other version of the team) overlapped
with the existence of Motorola -- they were competitors.

When Motorola folded some riders and staff went to Postal and some to
other teams. But they were not the same team.

Bobby Julich was never part of USPS, Subaru-Montgomery, or Montgomery-Bell.

Viatcheslav Ekimov was never part of Motorola or CSC (or previous
    incarnations).

Tyler Hamilton was never part of Motorola.

Nope ... Motorola grew out of the 7-Eleven team.

In fact Team Motorola existed at the same time as Subaru-Montgomery,
Montgomery-Bell, and the very first year of USPS.

Resurfection, it's the latest hot new Euro based training program. All
the top Norcal masters are doing it - throw out the SRM, that was _so_
early season. It's kind of like Rolfing but you have to go to this
    Italian doctor as well ...

    p.s. resurfacing + resurrection

p.p.s. Hey Crit Pro, how ya like Bobby now?

Surely resurfection also involves surfing and playing beach boyz music
while riding your rollers for cross training.

    No wonder I suck!
All my training (well... 90%) consists of my bike commute and the
intervals I throw in there. I'll show up to Giro SF and hang in there
until the bell lap and then finish 47th (probably watching Warren grab
    the gold).

Add in some rudimentary Italian (unless you're already fluent) with
plenty of odd intervals and you'll be forza!

Ah, I will be taking it easy at the Giro in preparation for some big
races a week later in Manchester, UK. But we will have a beer or two.

No habla "rollers". Not enough resistance for good training. The
surfing in NorCal is done on snow.
