  1. Between February 2002 and February, 2003 I had 12 severe asthma attacks that
required a 911 call to be rushed to hospital to be resusitated. In February
2003 I was admited to hospital and spent 2 weeks there under the care of a
lung specialist and a heart specialist. I had an angiogram done that showed
a 100% blocked artery that was not repairable. My diagnosis was some heart
muscle damage from a heart attack that I knew had occurred in 1999 and
hardening of the arteries. I was told that I had severe heart and lung
disease and would be an invalid for the rest of my life. They released me
with the following prescriptions: Warfarin, Furosenide, Ramipril,
Raninidine, Ditiazen, Pulmicort, Oxeze, Atrovent, Nitroglycerin, Nitrodur,
Cardym and Cipro for my recurring chest infections.

My condition was stabilized, by a combination of these medications, the
supplements that I was taking and breathing therapy, so that I no longer
experienced these severe asthma attacks. My breathing continued to be
laboured and I still couldn't walk more than 10 feet without having to sit
down and rest. It was about 3 months later when my wholistic doctor was
contacted by a ginseng company that claimed they had developed a method of
processing ginseng into a powerful supplement. The product is called Bing
Han Refined Ginseng Powder. I began taking this pure Panax Ginseng, in the
    middle of May, this year.

Over the next 3 months the ginseng began to dramatically change some things
for me. My blood pressure went from 180/105 to 120/78, my glucose level has
moved down from 200 to 160 (100 is normal). My lung function improved from
39% to 57%. My doctors did followup tests and have had to reduce my
medications. My chest infections have ceased to occur, and my medications
have been reduced to the Furosenide, Ramipril, Ditiazen and Pulmicort. Also,
my Pulmicort (200Mg) doseage was 16 puffs a day. I am presently withdrawing
my body from this medication and am presently taking one puff every day. The
Rampril strength has been reduced and is one a day. There is not a shred of
doubt in anybodies mind who has been around me that I am healing. The only
thing I did differently was to take the recommended dose of this ginseng
every day. That is why I want others, who need it to use it.

My family doctor knows that I am taking this ginseng powder. he knows that
it is perfectly safe to take with all my medications. He stopped the
Warfarin for me because he felt it thinned my blood adequately. He is
witnessing the incredible results. He is a GP who has integrated holistic
medicine into his practice and he is working with me to safely move me off
these medications as appropriate. Although scientific tests are required by
onlookers, to accept what's happening, for me, I can walk again! I have lost
that terrifying fear that gripped me!!

  2. OK, which medication should I stop taking first?

I know, I'll stop taking ginseng!

The process for stopping medication is roughly the reverse of being put on
    it.
Medication is prescribed to suppress the symptoms of disease that shows up
    in
tests. When those same tests show that the symptoms or the disease have
disappeared, the doctor reduces or eliminate that medication. I see that
    occuring
    in people every day.

So you're claiming that disease is actually the result of ginseng
deficiency? Hmmm, what is the ideal level of ginseng in the body, Dave?
Surely it can be measured? Of course there is a widely accepted recommended
daily amount -- not established by the gov't., but by those considered
experts in the field of alt. medicine?

BTW wouldn't taking ginseng be *unnatural* for people in places where
ginseng isn't found *naturally*? (Or where the "inferior" ginseng you've

Don't be absurd! As anyone should know, there could NEVER be "withdrawl"
from using an all-natural & organic product. Remember, they're always safe.
We have seen this proven by the use of opium poppies throughout the
    ages.......<G>

Really? That implies that Ginseng prevents disease. What diseases does
it prevent, and what is the scientific evidence that its regular use
    prevents these diseases?

  12. Truly a dumbass attempt to compare ginseng with morphine. Lets see
now........... Opium was addictive, so "they" say that morphine would cure
the addiction, even though it is 4-5 times as addictive. Then "they" say
that heroin would cure the morphine addiction, even though it is still MORE
addictive than morphine. AND then "they" say that methadone{sp?}will cure
heroin addiction, and guess what? it is even MORE addictive. One can figure
who "they" are on their own.
Seems to me that "they might not be the best ones to listen to when seeking
knowledge. "They" might be confused about what direction the bus needs to
    go.
No I will not provide cites. If it is important to you, do your own
    research.

Glowlife Dave claimed there could "never be withdrawal" from an "all
natural" and "organic" product. Yet, as I pointed out, the "all natural"
and "all organic" poppy is quite addictive, because of its morphine
content. The same thing goes for the coca plant, from which we get
cocaine. Thus, Glowlife Dave is wrong when he makes such a blanket
statement about "all natural" and "organic" products. If he had said
that there could "never be withdrawal" from Ginseng, it would have been
a different matter, but he was stupid enough to make such a broad claim
for "all natural" and "organic" products in general.

And you were stupid enough to give him tactical air support.

Since an angiogram is a procedure with a rtisk of causing a problem my
family physician is ordering a nuclear medicine scan. He says that the
condition of the blocked artery and also healing of the heart muscle is
shown by this procedure. It will be scheduled later this year. Once we
restore the immune system healing of many things occurs.

Remember that not all coronary artery blockage is created equal. A 100%
block of the LAD before the first bifurcation is known as a widow maker.
Other 100% blocks are survivable, and liveable.
