  1. To the guy from whom I purchased my first ebay item: a chris king rear non-disk hub...and now
    refuses to sell it.

    Thanks a lot...

I see XT hubs on there now? how do they compare to deore hubs?

    Wow!

    That's really effective!

    You told him!

Check pricepoint.com before wasting your time with Ebay. XT, front and rear at $29.98 each.

  4. First, you should leave negative feedback for the guy. That will show up on his profile and warn
other users not to buy from him.

Second, you should report him to the fraud section of eBay. He'll get kicked off and nobody will
have to deal with him again.

I have had many successful purchases and sales on eBay, so don;t get discouraged. Occasionally, you
can find a really good deal there.

I know ...thanks. I decided to buy from ebay after seeing many positive reviews from people here. I
did launch a complaint through Ebay but nothing has come of it. I don't even want to do business
    with the guy anymore.

But the thing is he has 43 positive reviews and no negative ones. I can give him a negative review
and it doesn't really matter. I'm new on there and have 0 reviews. So he can give me a negative
review in return and it does me more harm.

I totally wanted to pay up and get the part asap...too bad.

Negative feedback would do him more harm. You don't have any feedback so it would be easy for you to
just switch your ebay ID. You would lose nothing.

BTW: Why don't you give us the ID of the culprit so we can steer clear of him?

I ran into the same situation one time, after I had already paid for the item with a money
    order no less.

Actually he can't leave you negative feedback..........

He's the one who violated the agreement, and you can have Ebay delete his feedback if he tries to
screw you with negative feedback also.

YOU NEED TO LEAVE NEGATIVE FEEDBACK SO THAT WE DONT DO BUSINESS WITH HIM EITHER!!!!

No, EBay won't kick a person off for one non-sale, or even several of them. You have to do lots of
bad stuff for a long time and get lots of complaints before EBay takes any action. Even then, it's
simple to get a new account and start over.
