Hoping to head about as far North as you can go this May Day weekend and have booked the Lazy Crofter Bunkhouse at Durness. Anyone stayed here or got any knowledge of this one. website looks good and at £10 a night it should be ok.
Not sure what we will climb yet but the group of Corbetts on the doorstep are the likeliest candidates with Foinavon hopefully included. Again has anyone done Foinavon, Arkle and Meall Horn as a threesome and if so how were the timings. Looks like a very big day but do-able with an early start, late finish.

I did Arkle and then Foinavon as a round from Rhiconich which made a great day out. I guess going the extra mile or two for Meall Horn would be possible, but I was happy just staying on the natural line. So, something to go back for. --
Looks like Foinavon as a single with Arkle and Meall Horn as a seperate pair.
There's a very useful place to park, just off the A838 about half a mile north of Achfary. A track leads off along the S shore of Lock Stack and the Westminster estate have kindly created a reasonably large parking space just before the bridge that will comfortably take half a dozen cars.
A friend and I stayed there in July 2003 for a couple of days - excellent bunkhouse..... clean, tidy and with good views... plus great value for money and close to shops and bank etc....
