Duplicating bike lock key

Is it a Kryptonite? They come with a serial number and you can order another key from the company.

The round type of keys are often all one standard key, no different cuts; a local computer shop
that has been around awhile probably has thousands of them piled up from when computer cases came
with a keylock.

If it really is an individual key, I doubt it is duplicable.

While this may hold true for computer case locks, it is absolutely false when it comes to bike
locks. If this were the case, then thieves would have no need for bolt cutters or other more exotic
tools. They could just go down and purchase their own Kryptonite U-lock and then use the key to open
the lock for every bike they wanted to steal. Ridiculous.

If the local hardware store doesn't have the tools or blank keys, call a locksmith. They should have
the tools necessary to duplicate your key.

A locksmith will have a key cutter for round keys.
