  1. 20-odd riders in the group MJ, and the only one advertising a US TV
    network was wearing yellow?

His post-race interview sounded bitter. His angels have some 'splainin
    to do tonight.

Is it possible that Disco is full of roulers and climbers, and just
plain vulnerable to repeated sharp attacks like we saw today?

Maybe Riis cut a deal with everyone on Discovery save Armstrong. ;-)

It's blackmail - CSC's secret plan of commando training in the
off-season is coming to fruition. 🙂

Perhaps, but it's pretty clearly not a vulnerability their team captain
expected them to have. The good news for Discovery are that there aren't
many more long, fast climbs like this one on the rest of the tour.

When you look at the historic records of the non-Lance members of the
DSC team, it's pretty clear they aren't really lunch meat. Hincapie is
pretty much supposed to end up at the back on a stage like today, but
there are a lot of climbers on that team. Never mind Azevedo, Beltran,
Noval, and Rubiera, who you would just expect to be okay in a stage like
today, what happened to Popoyvich, and why couldn't Savodelli keep up?

Savodelli is the only one who may have an excuse: he at least did some
    work before he got dropped.
