  1. I have dry sensitive skin. Could somebody please recommend to me any
cleansers, etc. that I could use? I also have eczema. I was wondering
if Cetaphil is as good as or better than Eurecin? Please let me know.

  2. Omega 3, 6 , 9 fatty acids taken internally for at least six months.

Sunbed tanning in controlled doses.Meditation, more sleep, more water.
Reduce the stress in your life. Chemical, food sensitivities, emotional and
any other form will agravate it.

Start by bathing less often, with a moisturizing soap, and using
body lotion right after bathing to prevent moisture loss. An
occasional bath with Alpha Keri bath oil will be good.

Drink more water, eat more animal fats, and try to increase the
    humidity in your house.

And for the eczema, figure out what is causing it ... often it's
dietary an dif you stop eating certain things, it goes away.

When businesses invoke the "protection of consumers," it's a lot like
politicians invoking morality and children - grab your wallet and/or
your kid and run for your life.

I went for intolrence testing and was recomended a daily dose of Fish
Oil / GLA at least 1000mg and the highest concentration of Evening
Primrose Oil I could find in a single capsule which ended up being
Solgar's at 1300mg..., although sceptical at first within 3-months the
characteristics of my eczema had changed. Yes still there and still
sensitive, but the general dryness and particular flakyness of the
scalp has totally disappeared and never returned.

On the face I found pure hi-potency Vitamin E cream to be very helpful
and refreshing, but the slightest additive (e.g Calendula) causes me
    problems.

Elsewhere; Dipobase good in the bath and also out of the bath, but I
dont like E45 or Eurecin or that other moisturiser beginning with A -
no, not Atrixo, something in yellow packaging with green writing on
    it.

    Good luck!

Skin does not absorb oils. It repels them.

Tell that to Debbee. She thinks that she is contantly absorbing oils and other
    toxins.

This is why you have to wash and bath.

You really need to tell that to Debbee...really.

Regarding diet and excema, I have noticed that when I cut back on my
coffee and drink more water my skin starts to clear up. I only have
to cut back a cup or two a day, adding only a cup or two of water, so
it really takes very little to notice a difference.

Which is a good thing, because I really NEED my coffee! 🙂
