  1. After driving for 12 hours straight to Las Vegas, my back
and legs will be killing me!

I'm not really interested in hooking up with a big
    hotel spa.

Should I just look for a chair massage somewhere or should I
look for a normal therapeutic massage somewhere?

Any non-hotel options for a AMTA certified massage in
    Las Vegas?

  3. Chair massage only accesses the back. I'd suggest swedish
massage addressing the back and legs. Make sure to drink
lots of water and get out of the car every hour , two max,
for a five minute walking break. Drink WATER!! Not coffee,
not juice, not coke, WATER. I ride a motorcycle doing long
distance touring. 800 miles in a day is common, the biggest
problem I have is making sure to stop and do the walking and
consuming enough water to prevent dehydration and the
    ensuing discomfort.

Chair massage can get the legs too, but it's much better to
go for one on the table. And I second the idea of frequent
    breaks and lots of water.

Of course if you drink *enough* water, then the frequent
    breaks become "mandatory". <G>

  6. Thanks for the amta, table massage, frequent breaks, and
    voluminous water consumption tips.

  7. Chair massage is better than nuttin'

I advise my patients to never pass one, but to book one.

    Spine is most important anyway.

Some hotel spas are good, especially in gambling towns.
They want to make you feel good to spend more at the
tables. Bally's in Atlantic City has great massages at a
reasonable price which includes use of pool, whirlpool,
    showers, etc. LK
