  3. So, any update on this?

    If you're not happy with the (lack of) action by the police, make a written complaint about the officer. These have to be followed up. However, there's no point in complaining if you haven't done everything required - ie. made the report, got the incident number etc....

    I did and I have.

    Been in there 4 times now (inc original report).

    Each subsequent time I have spoken to different people who insist they will get the orginal officer onto it. blah... blah...

    I do realise there is a big possibility that they can't take any action, but I do expect a letter or phone call to say "sorry, we tried"

    that must be too hard for a public servant to do...

    My next step will be a complaint to NSW Police Dept.
