I drink anywhere between 3L and 4L of water everyday, is this too much ?

Is it causing you problems like side stirches, cramps, or stiff
muscles? If so then it's too much, if you are having no problems then
it isn't too much. If I drank that much water I'd explode, or [censored]
myself to death, but I don't need a lot as a rule. If it works for you
    then don't mess with it.

Tables schmables. Aren't those tables more or less for the general
    population?

    Yes.

    Quoted message said:

Since I run and I want to run the fastest marathon time that
I can, I should be well below any normal table.

But the low range is about 8%. To go lower hard work and needs nutrition
vigilence and more that just total calories.

    Is there a table out

Operative word is elites. Frankly, I think these speed demons are built
that way from birth. It's not like they were 200+ lost some weight and
turned elite. I once got down to about 165 and was recruited an
anorexia ad. I found my 6" frame works best 172-177.

Yes I too nibble on something with protien during longer runs, usually

    protien bar of some kind.

I kill two turds with one peice of toilet paper by using SUCCEED!CLIP.
It has carbs, protein and fats in one drink. It also has zero salt so I
    also use
    S!caps.

Any thoughts as to why Slim-Fast doesn't cause problems - the other
cations or the milk buffering or ...?

No idea but keep in mind that I drink one can every three hours plus the
aid stations fare. It seems to keep my cauldron under control.

I know I definitely prefer slimfast (chocolate or vanilla) or milk as

My first choice is beer, second Slimfast, milk third. If my stomach is
testy a Coke works well for me.

Sounds good. But that's 117 calories. It will go right to my thighs. Do I
    need therapy?

Ok, that's a lot less than the sports drink. Thanks.

The muscles in your thighs might love the calories. 😉

It's too late. Dear Freud. 🙂
