    I currently ride a 2005 Moots Psychlo-X, its my only ride currently, while I dont ride cross, I use this as my all arounder and fair weather commuting.

    I am going to be getting a nice check soon and have the sign off of the MRS, to use some of the funds for a new ride or rides.

    Budget is around 6k dollars. and I have been looking at Moots Vamoots CR, IF Ti Crown jewel.

    Type of riding I like to do are weekend loops with focus on distance, 2-5 hour rides, hopefully some centuries, I do not plan to race but also dont want to be slow.

    Lots of cool stuff out there, Salsa Vaya Looks cool, they also have the Colossus.

    I like Ti, Carbon Fiber scares me, but have ridden a few CF bikes and loved them, Dura Ace Calfee Dragonfly, Specialized Roubaix.

    Thoughts anything just built really well for my type of riding?

    Firefly makes some absolutely sweet ti and stainless steel (Columbus Xcr) frames.

    i wouldn't commute on a 6K bike, unless you can park your bike inside your working place never far from your own eyes,

    I commute on my Moots now, I have no lock for it, and it sits right next to me at all times 🙂

    I don't know if you'd consider steel, but after discovering this builder after running a search on "light steel bikes" to make a point on another thread, I may have found the next bike I'll be riding.

    Rodriguez Outlaw S3:

    His website's all over the place, but that and the fact that it's content rich and extremely well tagged is probably the reason I found it so quickly with basic search terms.$2000 for a fully custom True Temper S3 frame weighing in between 2.5-3lbs delivered within 3 weeks. Very exotic indeed.

    Still shopping but this guy is definitely on my list.
