I was almost hit a couple a weeks ago by a driver coming down the pavement
the wrong way on a one-way-exit at night.
(I was in a car)
It was the entrance to Scott Hall Sports Centre in Leeds.

I've got it beat: a taxi driver making his way to the front of a traffic
light queue by mounting the pavement.

I have seen that particular driver before. On another occasion, he pulled
out of a junction and then, realizing that he was unable to break into the
flow of traffic, decided to give up. The afore mentioned flow of traffic
just had to drive around the front of his car which protruded three feet
onto the main road.

Actually, I wonder if a degree of reverse racism is coming into play with
this guy. He looks asian and I wonder if people are reluctant to report him
for that reason. On the other hand, perhaps he has only made two errors of
this type and I happen to have been witness to both?

That is both normal and expected behaviour here in Paris. I was taken
to a lunch meeting by a friend on the back of his motorbike and was
horrified when we rode along about 25m of pavement to avoid following a
diversion.

Must have been one of those car-thief cyclists. I was surprised to
see not one but two car-thief cyclists[1] actually filling the tanks

I had an encounter with a car thief cyclist the other day. Coming up behind
her in my own stolen car in heavy traffic on the M6, I noticed she had no
lights on, so flashed her several times. After a mile or so and a junction
or two, the lanes had rearranged so she was behind me, so I flashed my
foglights on and off at her to remind her of her mishap.

20 miles further south, I came off the motorway at my home junction, and
pulled in to fill up my car. To my surprise, the lightless driver pulled in
after me, stopped at a different row of pumps, got out, noticed she had no
lights on, and asked the driver in the utterly dissimilar car to mine
stopped in front of her if that was what she (the 3rd party) driver had been
flashing her about. Boggle.
