  1. Dont you just love it when you leave your Loco Moto locked up next to a security guard and CCTV
camera in a lift lobby , go off for two minutes to get a juice and find the guard has buggered off
to the bank, your bikes been stolen, and the camera's been on the blink for a week?

I feel sick to my stomach.

Sounds to me like the guard has the bike ... many thieves become security guards.

If this really happened, I feel bad for ya. That's the reason my good bikes are never out of my
site, and I ride in the city on an old bike I got out of the trash.

  4. Damn, Gaz! That's not good (like you really _need_ to be told that, right?) Hang in there - it may
well turn up somewhere, stranger things have happened.

Wait a minute, aren't you the one who had your loco-moto stolen before, then you recovered it? Am I
mistaken? I distinctly recall some kind of story about your bike.

Trackstands at the juice machine (or juice bar as it may have been) are not a particularly
    bad thing.

  7. What I'm doing must be right never ha one stolen. But hear about even the walmart bike getting
liifted at the Supermarket and Elks club. YES thats a friend of mine 5 Walmart bikes stolen
from him. Everytime it was on of those cheapass locks and he hasn't learned yet. So they keep
    preying on him.

I feel your pain. Anyone that has had a bike stolen knows that indescribable feeling you have right
now. Keep your eyes open and you might see it again, file a police report and keep that serial
number handy in case it's recovered.

    Best of luck.

I hope you are able to find a suitable replacement...

You might be thinking of me. I had a loco-moto a year ago, but I sold it. The bike that was stolen
    and recovered was a zaskar.

Well, with bike security maybe, but not with Usenet. How about quoting some of the previous post?
    anything...please God ANYthing.
