  1. Most people overlook their grip but it is just as important if not
    more than most other training.

Think about it,most that you do whether you are a
bodybuilder, powerlifter or strongman involves your hands and forearms.

Great ways to train grip are:

1.Grippers like the Captains of Crush
    2. One handed deadlifts using implements like the Rolling Thunder
    3. Thick bars like the 2"- 3"
    4. Famers walk using regular and thick handles
    5.Blobs
    6. Hub handles

    And many more.

You can do reps or holds for time.
Just remember that your grip can overtrain just like everything else
    so dont overdo it.

And don't forget regular masturbation. But beware, even there you can
over train. Messes up the gym's equipment too.

Best grip machine by a long shot was developed by Bruce Lee or one of his
students - it works with weight places and you basically grip 2 bars
together one of which is attached to weight plates

Only a bodybuilder would possibly need to directly train thier forearms.

All other lifters or strength athletes should have trained by slowly
increasing loads so thier grip adapts with whatever their training level is.

This is a broad blanket statment, so fire away if you don't agree.

Unless those shirts weigh hundreds of pounds, they will do little to
    increase your strength.

Maybe, maybe not. Depends on what the lifter is training for
    and what is lacking.

    Sure, to varying degrees.

I do no grip training whatsoever and have never had a problem even the
    heaviest deadlifts.

  19. There is no maybe or maybe not.I have trained with some of the best in the
world and believe me a vice grip in a sure way to big gains in any endeavor.
As far as being able to deadlift alot, that is just one aspect of grip and
does not tell you that your grip is great. Most perform exercises in bad
form because of a lack of grip strength even though you may think that you
are doing fine. Performing exercises like tri pressdowns and shrugs need a
vice grip or you will never get 100% out of the exercise.I have trained many
people who aftger getting their grip up to par saw an increase in other
    lifts.
