I'm running my 5 miles yesterday and all of sudden I feel some wet slobber all over the back of my leg. I look down and there's a big bloodhood type dog. It doesn't go away. I start telling it to go away but it comes right after me. I look around and see only one person - this stupid, fat woman about 100 yards away pretending it's not her
looks up and starts screaming "It's your fault. You're running". I say it's against the law and the next time I'm calling the police. She

This was lame enough the first time around. Get some new material.
My biggest concern is when people don't clean up after their dog...especially when they do their 'business' on the sidewalks/streets where I run.
In Boston, you have to watch out for both the potholes and the dog [censored] (and I don't mean the stuff that comes out of Teddy Kennedy's mouth). :-)

Thanks a lot, fool. I had a nice 7 mile run with my dog this morning in the park. He was on a leash. The 15 other dogs and owners I passed were also well behaved.
Have you ever considered anger management?

I was running this morning along a fairly busy two lane road. All of a sudden I felt a firm thump on top of my head. I turned to see a starling in attack mode circling over me and preparing to really let me have it. I through my hands up to fend off the attack but she persisted to hover over me and continue her assault. This went on for a few minutes until I stopped, turned in her direction and waved her off aggressively. This is a first for me in three years of running at 25 miles a week. Maybe the animals are going crazy...??? lol

Decades ago I had a very similar situation happen. I turned around and literally drop kicked the dog. I never looked back. To this day I regret that over reaction. I was bitten once, but that's one bite in about 140,000 miles of running.

They always attack at this time of year since they are nesting. I used to get chased by the same one when I would go out biking the whole month of June. I always thought it was a bug until it started to peck my head through my helmet. They're pretty aggressive.

Never considered it and never considered that you have a point. I didn't say all dogs are misbehaved.
