Do you wear Pro team gear or normal gear

I wear gear that is for the manufacturer of my bike, FELT. I've got their red/black jersey and shorts. Got them for cheap the day I got my bike, so it's what I wear. I'm not crazy enough to buy a pro-team kit just yet...

I have a bit of both, and ride whatever suits my mood (and the weather - my cold weather riding gear is all 'pro kit' while my summer stuff is from my local team).

Club colours mostly , so you might be advised to add that to your poll choice list .

Lots of stuff....currently no(active) pro but some former pro sponsors, club and specialty kit. Just ordered up my bike brand jersey and bibs to add to the collection.

Only pro team stuff I have is an old Giro Boreas 'Team ONCE' helmet. Still using it, and will until it's totally shot.

Depends what kind of mood I'm in. If I want to go out and really want to make RPM's, on go the USPS silks. I find that they really inspire me to push myself harder and really put on the miles (and they look great with my Trek 😄 ).

But I do admit that team colors are usually "pretty loud" in most cases and a plain set of shorts and jerseys should also be in everybodies arsenal for those low key runs.

Go with how you feel that day. Choice is good! 😉

I used to wear sponsored jerseys alot because it was generally cheaper than ordinary stuff , now it's the other way around. I've even noticed how some of that clothing is sort of becoming "collectable".
Apart from club clothing I just wear whatever is the most comfortable.
I've never had a pair of shorts last more than two years, no matter how expensive , 8 panel or not. That's the annoying part.

I don't wear team stuff because I figure it's an invitation for casual riders to try to take me when I'm on a goal-oriented training ride. If today's goal is zone 1 and I'm going slow up a hill, I don't feel like seeing some smiling geek look over his shoulder at me with a smug "blew YOU away loser" look just because I'm too disciplined to make him feel small by blowing him away and, BTW, blowing my recovery ride with a hill sprint.

That's why I wear generic.

i think pro clothing is good to wear. they say people wear it because they think they're pros or whatever, but at the end of the day who really cares. its usually good quality and looks 100x better than a plain grey top or somethin.

im hoping to get the Liquigas short sleeved top soon, that looks amazing.

I wear only club team gear, no pro branded stuff.

What about a bike brand jersey that does not match the brand of your bike? e.g. I have a Bianchi jersey that is a replica of ones Copi wore but I no longer ride a Bianchi. It is such a cool looking top that I can not bare to retire it.

And what about Yellow/Green/Polka Dot/Rainbow Stripe Jersey? You would have to be pretty sure of yourself to wear that (unless you won it of course!!)

I wonder about that one myself. Bianchi's stuff has that distinctive color, and their name written out pretty big. On the other hand, there's stuff like the Saeco/Cannondale team, and Saeco is what's most prominent on the clothing, not Cannondale.

I'd like to find at least some shorts and/or a jersey, if not a full kit for my bike make, but there isn't much Klein apparel out there.

I have a few club jerseys (Nittany Velo Club, Toronto Bicycle Network) but the rest is plain, generic stuff. I don't think I have any pro stuff at all.

I wear my club jerseys etc. Add that to your poll listing.
