  1. Ricco doped to win 2 stages, give how many Cav has won can he really be clean?

I'm starting to have doubts and most of comes from the british cycling setup and Dave Brailsford in particular, not from Columbia

-for one why did brailsford say he would be dissapointed if he found out Millar was working whith Cecchini when he returned from his ban, then made public the fact that they wanted him to stop working with him, when in fact it turns out he new all along he was working with him?

-he was arrested by french police as the same time as Millar

-his pathetic defence of Rob Hayles HCt test fail, and then the subsequent domination of the track worlds by the british team.

    Or am I just paranoid?

  2. I think a better question is: Is Cavendish a [censored] ?

I can tell just by looking at a photo. It's a gift, and I'm never wrong.
    My verdict : Fudge packer.

Yeah probably, though in my armchair view, there seems less incentive for a sprinter. My intuition is probably wrong though.

You're just paranoid. Next you'll enter the phase where you see some 17 year old kid, stacking shelves at the local supermarket, lifting 100Kg of canned soup. Before he can set them down on the shelf you would have called the IOC and asked for a drugs tester to make an unscheduled appearance at the store.

wrong, the sprinters still need to get to the finish. The last 5km, in a field sprint, is equivalent to the last 10km on l'Alpe d'Huez.

There is a definite selection made in the sprint. See for example, OGrady. Numerous podiums in Tour field sprints. Yet he has never won a field sprint in a 2.1 domestic French Race like Sarthe or Dunkirk. He will be beaten by guys like Nazon, Casper, every day of the month at the Tour.

For a sprinter to win the big races, they need to hold their place, and make the selection, to sprint for the win in the last 200m. It is no good sprinting from 10th wheel, 15 metres behind Petacchi, and expect to win. That is sprinting for a top10 place.

You need to be strong, to sprint for the win, in the top 5 wheels at 200 metres to go. Unless your name is Petacchi.

  14. Is it an hormonal problem? Repetitive behaviour? Repetitive messaging?

    They seem to think so.

Excellent question!! I'll just stick my head in the sand and pretend there's no reasonable way in hades that Cavendish is doping. Ignorance is surely bliss...
