  1. Better yet, do his supporters still believe ? Check it out ...

I still believe. BTW Tyler and Perez have different blood types. Had their
hypothetical blood bags been swapped then they would have both been sick.
His blood was triggering high responses on that "test" all year. It
obviously was not a valid test for his blood.

I believe you're full of [censored]. Not that I know anything about
anyone's blood type. But if they had different blood types I
don't believe I'd be hearing it from you.

  3. No, I am not full of it. I had read this before, but here is another source:
"In response to a fairly obvious question, Cyclingnews understands that
Hamilton and Perez have different blood types. "

  4. Believe or don't believe... whatever. As far as I'm concerned Tyler
    "did it".
I still believe though!!!!! I believe he is and was a great cyclist
(except when it came to bike handling skills), a hard worker, a good
stage racer and a good TTer.

    Lets not forget that people...

Suspension ends a couple of days before the World Championships....

Will a pro team sign him up for 2007? (Just think, he has probably
missed out on about 6 - 8 crashes over the term of his suspension, so
his body is still "young" compared to what it would have been if he had
    raced.)

My opinion is that the test is not good enough to use yet, and Tyler's
appeal was denied because it would make WADA look like the overzealous
    folks they are.

Logic says that if you were blood doping, and had received a warning,
you'd stop, rather than lose a couple of million dollars in income and
the chance to race. If it were the blood doping that caused you to get
the warning, and you quit, you'd pass the next time the sample was
taken. But if you weren't doping, what could you do to "make yourself"
    pass the test?

  6. The cyclingnews summary seems to indicate that there were times in 2004
that he "passed" the test, and when he had the MIT lab test his blood
    he passed.

Sure, but at that level, even if you transfuse, you've still got to be good to
succeed. If you race with a 5kg bike, you've also still got to be good to succeed.
    It's just a bit easier.

A corollary of Occam's razer is that the explanation which invokes the fewest
random coincidences is the most likely. Perez and Hamilton both tested positive,
the only two to have done so, and both were teammates in the same race. Hamilton
swears on a stack of Tugboat tags that he didn't use anyone else's blood, to his
knowledge. I conclude they swapped blood w/o his knowledge, somehow, some degree
of intercontamination if not a high-volume intertransfusion, due to sloppy
    practices @ Phonak.

I tend to believe what Hamilton says. I do not believe he has said he's never
transfused. But then I've read only 1% of the stuff he's put out, so I could
    be wrong.

Sure -- he'll sign with somebody.

IF you're on the threshold of the top of the sport, and you feel you need
to take a risk to cross it, you push it as hard as you think you can
    to do so.

I think this wasn't directly Hamilton's mistake. Someone at Phonak
    screwed up.

  9. Cyclingnews says Perez and Hamilton do not have the same blood type.

  10. I still believe he cheated.
I stil can't believe Phonak got a ProTour licence.

  12. Have you noticed that they aren't publishing the hematocrit of the
racers? I think that is significant.

    Quoted message said:

From what I've been able to determine EVERYONE is half a percent below

    the max.

So what are the odds of that? Impossibly high.

So either EVERYONE is doping or they have a way of controlling
    hematocrit levels legally.

I'd like to know what's up.

He didn't have complete information about what kind of
test they were using. Up till then, many people thought
    homologous doping was undetectable.

    Speculating:
It's possible that they were not doping, but doing something
else to enhance hematocrit. Then when the UCI/WADA warning
came, they had to bail, but reverted to a form of doping thought
undetectable. It smacks of desperation, but seems like
the desperate ones are the more likely to dope.
