And this pervert is still allowed to roam our streets? Lock away your
    bicycles, folks...

Seriously, it seems a bit extreme to put somebody on the sex offenders
register for a private act in a hotel room with an inanimate object...
    each to his own.

This was discussed on here before. It seems he /wanted/ to be
    disturbed and admitted the offence.

Whether they took the action, that the porters and cleaners take at a
posh block of flats I deliver to, of opening the door a little and
shouting hello just in case is another matter.

    From the page:

Robert Stewart, 51, admitted a sexually aggravated breach of the peace
by conducting himself in a disorderly manner and simulating sex.

Mr Stewart was caught in the act with his bicycle by cleaners in his
bedroom at the Aberley House Hostel in Ayr.

Gail Davidson, prosecuting, told Ayr Sheriff Court: "They knocked on
the door several times and there was no reply.

"They used a master key to unlock the door and they then observed the
accused wearing only a white t-shirt, naked from the waist down.

I don't see what the problem is. The bike was adult and consenting, no?
