I think its fun telling somebody what unicycle sucks and what rocks. (even when I've never even seen said unicycle in real life sometimes)

I feel that educated use of the search button would be far better than hearing "Get a KH 05" every other thread.
We all know KH is best, we don't need 50000000000 threads about it. And another 500000000000000000000000 posts summarizing the same thing over and over.
I like them. It's fun to see what people are interested in.
I also have posted two and they were very helpful in making my mind up. I guess if I had lotsa unicyclists around to talk with I wouldn't need to post, but I'm the only one I know here!
I guess ObieONE is in my twon, but I haven't seen him around.
In reponse to Catboy's post, not all of us know KH's are best and I did a search, but didn't find just the right specific info I needed. I also like to get fresh opinions. C'est la vie.

One big problem is that the search feature SUCKs. Horribly. It's a *really* bad search... no filters for relevance, no operators, etc. It's a pain in the ass if you want specific info.
I believe that any opportunity for someone to receive wildly divergent advice from bunch of people explicitly focusing their advice to their own preferences is an opportunity for that excruciatingly delightful human state of mind, namely confusion.
Perhaps a poll asking if the advice received actually assisted in the choice of a uni and whether it resulted in satisfaction would be fruitful.
I couldn't find an "I don't neccessarily like them but understand and accept why they're there" option. 🙂
I also did not vote, as is often the case with these polls, as the creator didn't leave a choice for "other." In my case, "I hate them when they're too general, but often help out when the person is specific enough about what they're trying to figure out. Especially if they communicate this in the SUBJECT LINE."

I enjoy these threads, you often pick up a wealth of knowledge of what's available in different price ranges in categories you haven't really considered, I think they're pretty valuable.
Also keeps you sharp on the current lineup of Uni's :p
