I'm curious about those who have been successful so far with low-carbing. Do you find that other aspects of your life have also been easier to discipline? For instance, I've been LCing now for about a year. During that time, I have been able to better discipline other things as well, such as exercise and even housekeeping (yuck!). Has this held true with anyone else?

Yes
I'm more disciplined with my work, with my sewing, with housework, with bills.... it has spread to lots of me. I won't say that I am more disciplined with exercise, because I did lots of that before LC. Actually, during the initial months of my fast weight loss... I became more lax than ever about exercise because I was losing so well I felt I could get away with being lazy. 🙂

Not really. I go through phases where I pay attention to things, then relax and let things go. This year has been no more or less in that respect. Paid much less attention to gardening, about the same to the house, more attention to work and studying, a lot of attention to LCing in the first 5-6 months, but all summer to now just free-wheeling it. Not counting at all, just daily weighing to keep my eye on things.
