I must share your affliction. Aside from rubber and brake pads, my bike is exactly the way I got it
2.5 years ago. I also don't have the "must have one of every kind of bike" addiction as apparently
do some of my friends.

Consider yourself lucky, Steve. I used to be like you, when I had my first bike. I never bought
anything for it, I just rode it and rode it. When that bike was stolen, it was then I contracted the
"disease." Ever since then I have needed to upgrade my bikes and buy new bikes, even when I'm happy
with the one I've got.

If you really want to be like the rest of us, you need to read more bike [censored].
