  1. I've just started to get into ultimate wheeling, and it's both fun and a
lot of work. At this point I'm not going more than 30 meters or so,
but as I've run into the boundaries of my practice space, I've gotten
to wondering; how far can you go on one of these things? I know Brian
Hansen did most of the Slickrock practice loop on one last year; have
any of you done significant road distance on one? How far?

  3. I haven't done too much, maybe 100 yards or less. But I have seat
dragged almost half a mile, once. (yes I measured it)

Well it was on nice smooth snow. Otherwise it would have tore my seat
    up!

I think it is easier, yeah. If it's a real UW with the pedals in closer
to the wheel, and not like my "UW" which is just an old uni with no
    frame...

Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total
obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and
through me. And when it has gone past, I will turn the inner eye to see
its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will
    remain.
