  1. Street is about going big and being creative. Doing a 180tire grab in a
street run would not be as impressive as if you did a 180doubleflip or
something to that sort down a big set. A crankflip/lateflip are way
different. Doing many of those other tricks late would pretty much be
the same as doing them normal. Whats the difference between a tire grab
and a late tire grab? Pretty much nothing. It would just make you look
like you forgot to trick that set and threw something in there. The
only tricks that would be cool late, would be the spins. 180's or 360's
that are late down sets are nice...

Flip tricks are way more impressive than tire grabs, and dont even get
me started on rotators. :S Take your feet off jeez....

You see Evan, its all about the flips.

  2. Hey justin, go do some tricks yourself. A lot of people think your the
best... Go define street if your sick of the way its going. I think
your just sick of not being part of the place its going.

You seemed to pretty much only be only talking about tire grabs. Read
    my post again.

Do a no footer toboggan down a 6 set and it would be way better than
any flip trick that has been busted down a set.

That is simply your personal opinion. The truth is that many other
people find flip tricks much more impressive mixed with big street than
    the non-flip street tricks.

Whatever is considered impressive is defined by the person that is
being impressed. Just because you think one thing is impressive
doesn't necessarily make everything you think correct. Same with the
other side of the arguement, but the majority is on their side.

Apart from flips there's not a whole lot of street tricks that you can
    do on flat ground.

Toboggans (variations on this too, seat in back tire grabs)
No footed toboggans (Again, Big extention would look sick)
    360 no footers.
Toboggan variations (Grabbing the bottom of the tire, grabbing the tire
    behind you. Mix it up.)

    Tire grab, toboggan.
    180, toboggan.

Ive gotta learn me some of these 🙂

    what exactly are they ??

impressive...why not just do whatever trickset you want and have fun

Also everyone is unique, we all have disadvantages and advantages. Some
can do 360d unispins. Some can do 180d unispins and so forth. So just
    have fun and enjoy unicycling.

  11. i'd like people to be more creative with the spots they ride, it seems
like all people do are tricks on flat, or tricks down stairs. i don't
care what trick you're doing down how many stairs, if that's all you
ever see people do it's going to get old.

as far as rails go, sure just grinding a 10 stair isn't that impressive
now, but there are a lot of tricks that haven't been done on rails that
could be, i'd rather watch somebody do 10 different tricks on a 5 stair
handrail than 10 of the hardest crankflip tricks on flat.

so what if a 180 double crankflip or whatever is harder than a tire
grab or a rotator, if all everybody does is crankflips and the 56 or 57
different variations it's going to get old, and already has. i'm not
saying people should stop doing crankflips, but mix it up.

basically i'd rather watch an easy trick that nobody has done before on
some steep bank than a played out trick in somebodies driveway.

K1 calls it flatland. Street is trial mixed with freestyle and flatland
tricks. But maybe you're right, competitions are called "Street
Freestyle". Of course you need to do tricks at first on flat ground,
you can't go right away to 9-set and do 540 unispin doubleflip. Nobody
have done this, but I'd like to see it at least on the flatground.
    🙄

The definitions are still kind of loose. There's no exact definition
for flatland and street yet, but most of us can see the obvious
    differences.

I think that we've seen very little of what is possible from flatland.
As for street, I can see a little more variation but we are pushing it
    to its limits.
