Disc brakes

The only thing you have to be careful of is that when you have the wheel out DON"T TOUCH THE BRAKE LEVERS !!!

if you pull on the levers the pistons come out of their cylinders too far and then they get stuck and air gets in the system etc etc

its a royal pain in the butt to fix and can mean a service trip to the local bike shop

So as soon as you take the wheel out it is always a good idea to put a piece of plastic or strong card in between the pads to stop them coming together if you accidently touch the levers

other than that its no diffierent to changing any other tyre

hey hevra, also be aware some brands of hydros are sensitive to being inverted (most of us turn our bikes upsidedown when removing wheels). it can allow air into the system meaning a rebleed which is a pain in the ass. not sure if maguras are prone to it, but be aware that it can be an issue. if you have a stand use it

ok, checked again and as duckwah already said it doesn't matter as long as you don't apply the brakes at all when the bike's inverted or with the discs out of the calipers. sorry just had to mention it cause i wasn't sure
