Neither do I, as you do not supply any details.

Since you asked me so graciously <G>, Victor, I am happy to oblige.
For our dinner for two on Thursday, we passed on an appetizer since we
both have modest appetites. We each ordered prime rib of beef, cooked
medium rare, with a baked potato and vegetable. Not haute cuisine, but
there - we like the restaurant, it's friendly, serves excellent food and
is in our general neighbourhood.. We skipped desserts, for reasons
already mentioned. Oh, I had a glass of Pinot Grigio and my husband
declined wine.
Our lunch today was at a very pleasant restaurant adjacent to the Kent
Narrows, a body of water in the Chesapeake Bay of Maryland. Seventeen
of our very closest friends and family members who lived within reach.
One granddaughter drove all night from the Univ. of Michigan, arriving
at 5 a.m., chirpy as a lark. Others live in California (U.S. Marines),
North Carolina (U.S. Marines), and Portland, Oregon, it wasn't practical
or possible for them to attend.
One granddaughter is on an Outward Bound mission and is spending her
time on a glacier!
Anyway, everyone ordered from the menu, from appetizers to salads to
entrées, so I have no idea what the entire group ordered. My appetizer
was Asian spring rolls, the person on my left ordered quail, my husband
ordered onion soup, others ordered crab soup or skipped the appetizer.
A couple of us ordered a chicken salad/fruit plate, some ordered salmon,
others crab cakes, several ordered oysters (this area is noted for its
seafood).
We had commissioned a cake - heart shaped, raspberry flavoured and
delicious. Then coffee, of course.
Table decorations were from friends, ditto beautiful cards. At our
request, "Please no gifts - your attendance will be our gift."
There - is that detailed enough? A lovely lunch with people who mean a
lot to us and, most importantly, everyone had a good time.
Thank you for asking. I appreciate your interest.
