  1. i'm making Buffalo-style chicken legs (just drumsticks) using Franks hot
sauce and butter, served with Marie's Super Bleu Cheese dressing and celery
sticks. Marie's is sooo much better than the LC stuff with sweetner in it.
Next time i'll make my own maybe.

Did this 2 weeks ago with wings but they were more work to prepare and the
drumsticks were on sale this week. mmmmm, looking forward to it.

Are hot-wings a nationwide thing? I remember the 1st time I had them, about
20 years ago - not far from Buffalo. They told us they were Buffalo-wings
and thought it was funny that we never heard of it. I was a kid and just
thought it was a funny visual.

    so, whatcha makin'?

I have not decided if I am gonna make hamburgers for Dinner or Chicken for
dinner. Hmm If I did chicken I could put it in a dish with some hot sauce
and have buffalo chicken as well.. of course I could just mix the hot sauce
in with the hamburger as well😉

Not sure yet. Since I had a steak, mushroom and onion stir-fry for
breakfast/lunch, maybe I'll do scrambled eggs for dinner. Last night I
did a salad with grilled chicken in it, and every time I eat that I'm
surprised at how filling it is, so maybe I'll do that again.

    ===============================
We're having chicken drumsticks in BBQ/tomato sauce mix with Italian green
beans. Fast, easy and low carb. :-)

Stir-fried beef with Chinese cabbage - the beef in a semi-barbeque sauce,
the cabbage in a salty/sweet (Splenda) milk sauce. Rice for the carb
    eaters,
    mashed cauli for me.

    Nicky.

I forgot that I have wings in the freezer. I might be making wings.

I'm going to do a lot more pickling too. Mushrooms definitely, as well as
pickles of course, and most of all, Sauerkraut. You can make it in 3 days
and even if you ever hated it, you'd love the home made stuff. It's very
different from that vinegared [censored] they sell.

this sounds good, i'd like to try the sauerkraut and mushrooms. Should I
just google "pickling" and hope for the best or do you have any tips or
    tricks to share?

    thanks

    Dinner Update:
    No buffalo chicken :o(

We had a crazy flash snowstorm with 55 mph winds and I was out east. it took
me 2 hours to go 20 miles and there was like zero visibility. It was pretty
scary but the more west we got the snow slowed up and the roads improved
    *slightly*

I saw some very scary accidents.

I also got here too late to start the chicken. Oh well. Soup and smmies for
the family. I may just grill up some chicken breast for myself, I had a
salad for lunch. Maybe have some stracciatelli.

Stir fry. A cheese & wine sausage from Trader Joe's, celery, green
onion, zucchini, mushrooms, 1 oz each of cheddar & colby cheese and 2
tbl of alfredo sauce. Very good! 11 carbs and about 419 calories (I
haven't had much to eat today, so I'm STILL only up to 19 carbs and 832
calories -- and so far I can't even finish the stir fry until another
    couple of hours go by).

Wow, it's hard for me to envision such a bad storm there -- it's in the
70s here in San Jose today and will be all week (it's supposed to get to
80 on Friday) -- I had to dig out some spring/summer clothes so I'll
    have something to wear!
