I've got a Mavic Helium rear wheel that has cracked around a spoke
hole. The local Mavic importer does not support the Helium wheel
anymore, so I need to find an alternative rim.
From what I hear, the Open Pro rim is the same as the Helium rim, but
unfortunately, it is hard to find in a 28h version. The Cosmos
replacement rim is readily available with 28 holes. Does anyone know
the difference between the Open Pro and the Cosmos rim ? Weight, etc ?

With regard to the Helium, which his header asked about, but not his
message, there is one major difference between it and the other rims
asked about, it only comes with 26 spoke holes versus 28h for both the
OP and Cosmos..... -

Excellent. The funny thing is that the Open Pro retails for $ 90, and
the Cosmos replacement rim (also black anodized) retails for $ 59...
I think I'll get a Cosmos rim, then. -

Seems like Mavic list the Open Pro as being Maxtal, but not the Cosmos
? Possible weight difference ?
