Anyone tried ordering from www.diettogo.com (or a similar service if there are any others)? Its a
mail-order meal plan that I read about on a message board, and I am wondering if anyone has tried
their food and liked it. It's supposed to be points-friendly, but I haven't calculated their
nutrition facts yet to see. Check it out and tell me what you think.

I couldn't find any information as to what exactly their meals consisted of, or possible menus. I
didn't like having to fill in my name/address/contact info in order to have a *diet analysis* - so
skipped right over it.Personally, I don't see the point in anything like this. I lost weight once on Nutrisystems - all it
taught me was how to eat prepared meals out of cardboard boxes. I see this system as being virtually
the same. They prepare and deliver your foods, you reheat. You will more than likely lose the
weight, but unless you wnat to continue ordering food from them for the rest of your life, you will
probably put the weight right back on again when you resume preparing your own meals. Might as well
learn immediately how to cook differently, choose differently, etc. I'm a firm believer in not
undertaking anything that I am not willing to do for the rest of my life.Joyce

Hi Joyce,
I agree completely with the thoughts about not doing anything you aren't going to do for the rest of
your life. That is what makes this time different for me....there isn't an "end" to it...Carol

this is why I have done so well, I am sure if I had exercised I would
probably already be at goal and I know I would be smaller, but, I was not
convinced when I started, and am not convinced now that I could keep it up,
so I am not doing it. It sounds silly but I find it is all I can do to
drink enough water, so that is a struggle for me each day. I have committed
to eating properly and drinking enough water. I decided early not to
measure because I knew that if I missed a measure date I would feel like a
failure, I do wish I had measured for a before and after but that could have
horrified me into a huge depression so maybe it is best that I didn't, and
as far as exercise goes, I decided that I would not face that until I was in
a position to say I had done all the cleaning/sorting/ throwing out that I
had not done from being too heavy and disorganized. I figure I have at
least until goal and a lifetime or so after that to make a decision. in the
mean time, I am moving more because I am actually cleaning. Sorry I rambled
on so but this is a very important thing to me. If more would only do what
they can commit to for life there would me people stay slim. It truly must
be a WAL not just a quick fix, Lee,embarrassed for going on so long

I totally agree with all of that ramble Lee 🙂 Even though I'm not tracking, and I don't need to
officially weigh in for another month, I'm finding it easy to continue on with my good habits. It's
almost like the evil angel on my shoulder just isn't there anymore. As soon as you start thinking of
it as a "diet", when you go off the diet you'll just go right back to where you were.In the same vein, I was looking through my trackers from the first time I did WW. I can't actually
believe I ate so badly and still lost weight! Cakes (I was working in a cake factory, so that's some
excuse), way more alcohol, no exercise, far fewer vegies than I eat now. No wonder I put it all back
on when I stopped tracking and going to meetings.--

I don't think I could work in a cake factory, the icing would get me. I
make good choices on a regular basis also far as food goes. I rarely drink
as I like the stuff that is so expensive I can't justify it for the cost. I
just haven't made as healthy of choices as usual this week but I have stayed
in points and you know what? This really is how I will eat from now on,, in
points with the scale sliding on better not better choices while trying to
keep portions reasonable, Lee
