You haven't read through the archives of ASDLC have you? There's a steady flow of clueless folks who post basically
the same message. Hey, if simple worked for you that's
nice. Just don't be such an idiot as to figure that what
worked for you is going to work for everyone. There's no
such thing as one size fits all.And so we have an entire hierarchy of types of diet
systems and here within ASDLC we have an assortment
of low carb plans. They all work for some folks, they all
fail for some folks. And some folks fail to work them. Never
assume that if a plan failed the only possible reason is the
person failed to work that plan. The too is a long of
nonsense. -

easily lose all the weight they wanted to and would easily keep it off.
Pretty much everone who wanted to be would be thin and healthy. You tell me why that is not the case. What is so complicated?

Hello T.C
My whole life has been about staying slim.Thought nothing of it until I
went to the U.S.A.shock.It must be one of the Biggest industrys in the
U.S.,why would anyone want to solve it?--

Thought nothing of it until I went to the U.S.A.shock.Now we're getting somewhere. The food is different in several
ways. It's unlimited in the US but isn't it also unlimited in many
other nations as well? There are other differences and the more
the food looks like American food the more folks in other
nations get fat. Some claim it's chemicals added to US food. Maybe, but that
seems like an overly simple answer to me. A magic bullet. I
tend to think it's a combination - pressure that low fat is the
only valid way (low fat works for some but not all), high amount
of high glycemic index carbs, the problem that high fructose
corn syrup with it being half glucose (high glycemic index) and
half fructose (low glycemic index) and several other factors.Quoted message said:
It must be one of the Biggest industrys in the
U.S.,why would anyone want to solve it?That's part of the key. Industry does want people fat because
they are better customers that way. People want themselves
thin because that looks better, feels better, is more healthy
and so on.It should come as no surprise that most low carb plans push
eating lots of fresh veggies, fresh meat and other food products
that aren't from large industry. And that folks have problems
staying on an all-fresh plan because the cheat foods are so
tempting. And that industry doesn't want us on all-fresh. -
Hello Doug. The problem that I see with carb diets is the volume

The problem that I see with carb diets is the volumeYou are posting to a low carb support group. You aren't
going to find most disagreement on that front.Would you prefer complete avoidance of high carb foods
like white potatoes, or a right-size solution of small
portions? There's a constant debate between those two
stances. One side doesn't want anything forbidden. One side
can only stick to their plan if they do complete avoidance.
Is that can-vs-should, or is that want-vs-can? -
Avoidance of any food to lose weight is not essential,it only makes it
harder.Forbidden fruit!!--

will fall off the wagon. Addictions!Simple summary of the two schools of complete avoidance or
moderation. -
What you eat has nothing to do with weight loss or gain.It is your
appetite that is key.So many diets tell you what you should
eat, mistake. What you eat concerns your health, depends how much
cholesterol you want and how long you live not how much you weigh.--

http://www.healthnewsgroups.comMarco, do you realize that your posts are not going to a specific web
forum, but to USENET newsgroups? Since you do not quote any of your
replies, those of us reading your posts via the normal newsreaders have
no idea what you are respondig to. MOST people to whom you are
responding are NOT reading the messages via the healthnewsgroups
website, which appears to be some sort of news robot that collects posts
from various health/diet-related USENET newsgroups and lumps them all
together on one site.BTW, I'm guessing that the person you think you might have offended is
JC -- just ignore him -- he's the group troll.--

"Marco, do you realize that your posts are not going to a specific web

Newbie isn't the same as moron. I was running him through a
compressed version of the common topics to ramp him up to
speed. Since he was progressing I tend to think rank beginner
not moron. Too new to know the need to quote context, too
new to know what actually happens when folks start low carbing. -
