Diet Cherry Coke was always a bit of a rare find in coolers in southern
Florida. Over the last ten days I have been doing a lot of traveling and
have not seen a single Diet Vanilla Coke in the coolers or on the shelves. I
used to work for the Coke system and know that it is up to local markets to
sell certain brands since shelf space cannot be wasted. I was wondering if
others around the country are seeing the same thing?

I thought it was plain diet. That vanilla tastes nasty, to me anyway.HG

Diet is sometimes hard to find in any flavor. :-) For example, today in the
store, Coke products are on sale and shelf space for Fresca and Diet Sprite
are cleaned out. (12-packs and 2-liter)In general, in the 20-oz to 1-liter size, there are a few, but again diet is
pretty rare.OTOH, today they had 21-oz Diet Dr. Pepper (5% more than 20-oz!)
Plenty of Diet Vanilla, but I've never seen Diet Cherry. (C2 comes in
8-packs for the same price as other 12-packs.)Steve - still waiting for Diet Vanilla Jolt Free Extreme Twist!

Diet Jolt would do me. Twice the caffeine! Only caffeine does nothing
for me, so... I guess diet Coke is good enough :-|--

It's funny but now that I am an LC guy I can't stand some of the diet
flavors. TOO SWEET!--

Diet Lime Coke sounds really good! I have never seen it here though. Has
anyone else in the UK seen it anywhere? Or any soft drinks sweetened with
Splenda?

I've not seen the Diet Lime but it sounds great!

I have a heck of a time finding Diet Vanilla Coke in 2 liter bottles. I can
find 12-packs at Coborn's grocery store. the Diet Coke with Lime and C2 have
taken the shelf space from my favorite pop. good with Vodka too.--

find 12-packs at Coborn's grocery store. the Diet Coke with Lime and C2
have
taken the shelf space from my favorite pop. good with Vodka too.In the "this is odd" file, I found DietRite at my favorite grocery
store. This is, however, a store that has resisted, until very
recently, the low-carb trend. That's been perfect for me - they've been
the place I go to get good veggies and meats, but no trash. So, while
I'm thrilled they now have DietRite cola (it would be nice if they
carried some of the flavors, too) they also had "lowcarb oreos." The
mere thought of how much time I would be spending in the bathroom caused
me to veer away, looking green.I wish people would follow the principles, and not the trends.
That said: I still like some of the lowcarb products, such as the flax
cereals, the low-carb breads for occasional use, and the breakfast bars
for occasional use. My thoughts on that are this: if there's some real
nuitritive value, I'm ok with it. If there isn't, I'm not. To each
his/her own, however, if those products float your boat.--

don't have problems with caffeine and don't like coffee.

launched here in 2003 I've been a huge fan and it's gottem more and more
popular here. We dont and never have had Diet Cherry Coke and I never could
find it in the Baltimore Area when I was there for the summer. -

DianeI remember drinking regular RC years ago when I lived in the Chicago area.
Was underweight then and didn't need the diet stuff. I don't think either
of them are available in the UK though. I haven't seen anything that isn't
sweetened with aspartame. I don't like the aftertaste so I drink diet coke
with lemon when I do have any. That helps. I might get some regular diet
and fresh limes to try my own version of lime coke!--
