no, just don't have any opinions on getting the chlorine smell off the skin
    etc.

besides, i kinda like the smell 🙂

I associate the smell of chlorine with healthy, active people, so I
    like it too.

Someone told me that splenda is very dangerous because it contains
chlorine. I looked over at my friend who began laughing when I said, "I
soaks for hours a day in chlorine. I don't think that's what will
kill me someday." It was funny at the time, I guess you had to be
    there...

I hate to think of their reaction to someone putting salt on their
fries, since salt contains chlorine as well.

Note to self: Try some hydrochloric acid on your fries tomorrow. Post
    results in r.s.s.

Actually, the salt at McDonald's potassium chloride (KCl). Of course,
we all know what happens when you expose straight potassium to water 🙂

Be sure to do this in the presence of sodium. Ignition source not
    necessary. :p

Actually, the salt used for consumption is ordinary sodium chloride
(NaCl). Potassium chloride is often used in fertilizers.

Last time I went to a McDonald's that made you salt your own fries,
there was both NaCl and KCl salts in there.

Yeah, here I am, working out, and then shoving extra salt into my body.
Normally this would be a cause for concern, except that my blood
pressure is actually a bit too low for my own good. Makes donating a
    real pain sometimes.

Just be glad they didn't offer potassium nitrate and/or sodium nitrate
(saltpeter). We all know the outcome when that particular salt is
    consumed.

Back in 1996, we had a thread here on the use of Chlorox as an
underarm deodorant. If I swim everyday, I don't need to use anything.
Otherwise, I take a paper towel, wet it with water, dribble a little
Chlorox on it straight from the bottle, smush it around in the wet
paper towel, and apply to the relevant axillary anatomy. Works great
    (haven't gotten any complaints).

Wife/I just finished 16 hours of ballroom dancing lessons at Golden
West (community) College. Taught by a former US ballroom dancing
champion. About 15 couples. We changed partners about once every two
minutes; so made the rounds of everyone several times every session. I
conclude that 95% of American (well Orange County) women smell like
Arid or Ice Blue Secret. yeecccch!

I'll take swimming pool residue or Chlorox any day. Plus, they don't
clog up one's pores, which always seemed unhealthy to me.
