No Surprise, but it looks like Pound has the WADA HQ well rigged to
prevent any criticism from reaching his overseers (foundation board
members). When I went through "official" channels on how I might write

Asking the IOC to rule on ethics is ridiculous given their track
record of doing nothing until people are being indicted by outside
courts or it's worldwide headline news.
Until some of the NGBs and athlete's revolt nothing is going to
change. They seem to want to face down the GTs, but if Germany, Spain,
and all the small NGBs that feel they're getting screwed go with the
GTs then they might be able to force some serious reform, but like with
the UN I'm not real hopeful.
This is nothing more than a fascist elite protecting itself, by
whatever means necessary, at the top of both the UCI and Wada.
Until there's a full scale revolt nothings going to change, and it's
pretty obvious that the IOC and courts don't give a [censored]. If it got to
be too much of a pain in the ass, my guess is that the IOC would just
cut all the cycling events.

I don't understand the Spanish federation's actual goal. If
Verbruggen's influence is as pervasive and corrupt as they allege, then
I can not see how taking a gavel out of his hand for 2 days would
change any of the election results.

I think they were hoping to get enough cover to pull a palace coup on
the Verbruggen flunkies with the help of the Germans and smaller NGBs.
Now that this isn't an option we'll see if they have the guts to make
a real fight out of it. My guess is that they roll over and salute with
the flunkies.

Beijing, was given the thumbs-up by the Swiss court to oversee the
electoral proceedings.

Hours later the IOC, according to the UCI, said: "It has not been
proven that the UCI and its president (Verbruggen) had violated the
fundamental principles of the Olympic Charter."

Did anybody REALLY think the IOC would sanction someone this important
in their future plans.

What I do not understand is that they supposedly took this to the Swiss
Court system. What jurisdiction does the IOC have if you're taking it
into court?
